She advises insolvency practitioners on the powers and duties which are relevant to their appointments. Jennifer commenced practice in Christchurch, then spent two years in a large London firm before joining Chapman Tripp in 2008.
Recent experience
Jennifer has advised:
- receivers in the context of several of the high-profile finance company collapses
- the receivers and liquidators of several manufacturing groups of companies regarding business and asset sales, and
- various officeholders in relation to their rights and obligations under relevant legislation such as the Personal Property Securities Act 1999 and the Property Law Act 2007.
