  • Invista Technologies in its successful Australian trade mark opposition against Globe International
  • Standards Australia, the peak non-government Standards organisation in Australia, on its licensing and copyright arrangements with Standards New Zealand
  • Starbucks on its New Zealand action to revoke a TEAYANA mark to make way for the development of its TEAVANA brand name (a specialist tea and tea accessory retailer) in New Zealand and elsewhere around the world
  • Energizer in an advertising claim against Proctor & Gamble over the use of the All Blacks imagery and endorsement
  • Israeli company, Makhteshim-Agan and NYSE-listed Bally Technologies on patent disputes relating to their New Zealand operations
  • Pukeko Pictures, a New Zealand entertainment production company founded by Sir Richard Taylor of Weta Workshop fame, on its co-production and distribution arrangements with ITV, for the television series Thunderbirds are Go!
  • TVNZ on the copyright issues and commercial options associated with copyright in TV listings in light of the rising significance of electronic programme guide technology
  • SKYCITY on patent issues associated with the development and commercialisation of casino card games across its casino network, and
