Chapman Tripp advises Queensland Investment Corporation on acquisition

Chapman Tripp acted for Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) on its acquisition of Powerco, New Zealand’s third largest electricity and gas network utility, from Babcock Brown Infrastructure (BBI). The deal was valued at over NZ$400m. Partner John Strowger and principal Tim Tubman advised QIC.
