Chapman Tripp enters pro-bono relationship with Air New Zealand Fashion Week

Chapman Tripp has entered in to a new pro bono relationship with Air New Zealand Fashion Week, becoming the Official Legal Firm of Air New Zealand Fashion Week 2008.

Fashion Week is in its eighth year in New Zealand and is the country’s largest forum for the fashion industry, providing the opportunity for established and emerging designers from all over the country to showcase their designs on an international stage, providing fantastic international sales and marketing opportunities. This year Fashion Week runs from Tuesday 16 to Sunday 21 September at Auckland's Viaduct Harbour. Approximately 50 designers will send their models down the catwalk, including an Australian designer for the first time this year.

Chapman Tripp partner Michael Harper says that the relationship with Fashion Week is an excellent fit with one of the key focus areas for the firm’s pro bono programme; contributing to New Zealand’s economic future.

"We are really excited to be involved with Fashion Week this year. It is a world-class event that demonstrates the strength and respect that the fashion industry in New Zealand has developed in the international market."
