Chapman Tripp opens alternative Christchurch office

Supporting New Zealand and our economy has always been a core value of ours. So following this earthquake, we know that businesses remaining in Christchurch will be critical to the city's recovery. Like many others in Christchurch, we've spent the last ten days tracking down loved ones, sharing frightening experiences and assessing the state of homes and our workplace. We're now in a position where we are able to begin looking to the future, but we know that others are not so fortunate.

As of Monday morning (7 March), our Christchurch staff will be returning to work at our alternative premises at 245 Blenheim Road. If you or someone you know has a business query, or are seeking any kind of assistance, please do not hesitate to call us. We are waiting to help. You can reach our Christchurch office by calling our main number +64 3 353 4130 (our telephonist will put you through to the appropriate lawyer), or by contacting our partners (details to the right).

Supporting the recovery in Christchurch is important to us. To take the first step, we're donating $50,000 to the Red Cross Christchurch Appeal, and our staff are holding a fundraising mufti day today. If you would also like to contribute to the appeal, please visit http://www.redcross.org.nz/donate.
