Chapman Tripp partner awarded INFINZ Fellowship

Chapman Tripp partner Ross Pennington has been awarded an Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand (INFINZ) Fellowship at the 2013 Annual INFINZ Awards in recognition of his significant and valuable contribution to New Zealand’s capital markets.

INFINZ is a member based industry body for professionals working and participating in New Zealand's wholesale finance and capital markets.  It has a strong advocacy role, relying heavily on the contribution of members who share their expertise and experience to contribute to better outcomes in policy and legislation.

The INFINZ Fellowship recognises Ross’s contribution to the industry and confirms his position as a market-leading capital markets practitioner.

As a capital markets, banking and structured finance partner at Chapman Tripp, Ross has helped develop new markets, including the Kauri Bond market. He advises a range of local and international issuers and arrangers and has advised on more than 20 retail bond issues in New Zealand (including transactions which won INFINZ Debt Deal of the Year in three of the past six years).
