Sam Dykes, Finance
Sam advises clients on a broad range of banking and finance transactions and capital markets transactions and has a particular interest in corporate finance, syndications and property finance.
Phoebe Gibbons, Financial Services
Phoebe recently joined Chapman Tripp after returning to New Zealand from Linklaters in Shanghai. Phoebe specialises in securities and commercial law. She advises clients on the establishment, restructuring and compliance of investment products and on the full range of legislation affecting financial service providers. Phoebe also advises on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate and commercial work.
Jai Nario, Tax
Jai advises clients on a wide range of New Zealand tax matters including refinancing, structuring, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border investments and tax disputes. Prior to joining Chapman Tripp, Jai gained Trans-Tasman experience in Big Four accounting firms, covering Australian and New Zealand tax matters.
Anna Southwell, Property
Anna specialises in commercial developments, the acquisition and disposal of commercial properties, and leasing work across the office, retail and industrial sectors. She also advises on the property aspects of restructuring and insolvency matters, including receivership and mortgagee sales.
Daniel Street, Litigation
Daniel specialises in competition law and commercial dispute resolution. He is returning to the firm after a two-year secondment at Slaughter & May, where he was an associate in the firm’s London competition practice. Daniel advises on all aspects of competition law from merger and JV issues through to regulatory investigations and contentious matters.
