Chapman Tripp is today pleased to launch New Zealand Competition Law and Policy, a new loose-leaf and on-line updating service, authored by partner, Matt Sumpter.
Based on the award winning book of the same name, the new text is the only updating service dedicated to New Zealand competition law.
Matt Sumpter also authored the original New Zealand Competition Law and Policy textbook, published by CCH Wolters Kluwer. That book won the J. F. Northey Memorial Book Award for the best legal textbook published in 2010.
“There is a freshness and vivacity in the book’s approach and its writing,” said the Legal Research Foundation of the original text. “The book achieves the rare feat of being of use to both new and experienced competition law practitioners as well as commerce and law students.”
Matt specialises in competition law, intellectual property, and dispute resolution. He holds a fellowship at the University of Auckland's Faculty of Law where he teaches competition law.
