Partner Nick Wells interviewed on changes to foreign investment rules

Chapman Tripp partner Nick Wells was interviewed on TVNZ's NZI Business program on 24 July 2009.

In this interview Nick discusses moves by the government to ease the rules around foreign investment. He notes the need for practicality and certainty with a national interest test. He objects to the 25% threshold for foreign investment. He recommends defining strategic industries rather than particular assets.
