The Securities Commission's recent twin announcements on legal action have prompted speculation it's starting to flex its muscles.
The Securities Commission announced on April 13 that it was taking legal action against both Lombard Finance and Nuplex. Three high-profile names are included in the actions, including David Jackson, a member of the Securities Commission who is on the board of Nuplex, and two former ministers of justice, Sir Douglas Graham and Bill Jeffries.
