Alistair specialises in commercial property law.
He advises clients on issues including property development, acquisitions, disposals and leasing.
Alistair joined Chapman Tripp in 2005 from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he practiced as a tax consultant.
Recent experience
Alistair’s recent experience includes advising:
- AMP Capital Property Portfolio on its acquisition of a half share in Botany Town Centre, LynnMall Shopping Centre and Manukau Supa Centre
- Augusta Group in connection with the establishment and listing of the Kermadec Property Fund on the NZX with an initial portfolio of NZ$100m
- Augusta Group in connection with various property syndicates
- Tegel on the sale and leaseback of various properties
- Brookfield Multiplex on its joint venture for the development of a Takapuna property, and
- the Auckland Racing Club on its ground leasing of the Ascot Parade development site to McConnell Property.
