​Anne specialises in employment and health and safety law. 

She advises clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious issues including employment issues arising from mergers and acquisitions, employment litigation, OSH prosecutions, restructuring, disciplinary and performance management processes, contractual interpretation and restraints of trade.

Prior to joining Chapman Tripp in 2005, Anne worked for the Employers and Manufacturers Association (EMA) as an employment relations advisor.


Anne's experience includes:

  • defending an aged care facility provider in a personal grievance claim in the Employment Relations Authority
  • defending a leading Auckland public transport provider in the Employment Relations Authority
  • presenting a plea in mitigation for a nation-wide glass supplier in relation to a health and safety prosecution
  • defending a Holidays Act claim in the Employment Relations Authority for a leading provider of hair product
  • advising receivers of a large Auckland business on employment related issues resulting from the receivership
  • providing employment related advice to human resources managers of a number of leading New Zealand businesses
  • assisting clients with disciplinary investigations, and
  • representing commercial clients at mediation and authority investigation hearings for employment disputes.
