Lucy is a commercial lawyer with extensive experience advising domestic and international clients on competition law.
Lucy joined Chapman Tripp in 2013 after working for Slaughter and May in London and Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King & Wood Mallesons) in Sydney.
In New Zealand, Lucy previously worked for another national law firm and in the Opposition Leader’s Office.
Lucy has advised on:
- merger clearances before the New Zealand Commerce Commission, Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, United Kingdom Office of Fair Trading and Competition Commission (now the Competition and Markets Authority) and the European Commission. She has also assisted with multijurisdictional merger clearances.
- antitrust investigations in New Zealand, Australia, the UK and Europe.
