Phillippa specialises in commercial law with a focus on taxation, private clients & trusts.
Phillippa advises officers of, and counterparties dealing with, alternative business vehicles such as trusts and partnerships. She has acted for partners and partnerships (including UK limited partnerships), limited liability partnerships and trustees in commercial transactions and on management and constitutional issues.
Before joining Chapman Tripp, Phillippa worked at Allen & Overy in London.

- the New Zealand Private Equity and Venture Capital Association on its submission to the Ministry of Economic Development on the introduction of limited partnerships
- Knox Investment Partners on establishing the Knox Investment Partners Fund III
- on the preparation of the report to the Commerce Select Committee on public submissions (19) on the Limited Partnerships Bill
- on the establishment of the Goldman Sachs JBWere Trans-Tasman Private Equity Fund 07, and
- international professional firms on establishing United Kingdom limited liability partnership structures to carry on business as their successors.
