The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) has asked for comments on a proposed class exemption to apply to initial public offers, which would include exemptions from the form and content requirements for an investment statement.

We have set out our submissions here.

FMA has granted specific exemptions for two recent offers, namely Genesis Energy Limited and Intueri Education Group Limited. Under the proposal, a class exemption would be available to any issuer undertaking a similar IPO.
