Setting up a business in New Zealand is the focus of three workshops hosted by the New Zealand Philippines Business Council (NZPBC) and Chapman Tripp over the next few months.
The workshops, held at Chapman Tripp’s Auckland offices, will be divided into three sections. The first workshop, “taking the leap”, will include business owners sharing their experience in taking the leap to start their own business.
The second workshop will look at business essentials, such as funding, structuring and regulatory aspects (e.g. Health & Safety, employment and tax matters).
The third, called “lessons learned”, will include an experienced panel talking about the highs and lows, anything they would do differently and what they feel has been the key to their success.
The invite is available to view here. The first event will be held on Thursday, 22 June. To register, call or email Manaaki Rimene-Sproat on +64 4 498 6361 or Manaaki.Rimene-Sproat@chapmantripp.com. Non-members of the NZPBC should include further details, such as their name, role and contact information.
