Carol Newton is a qualified registered legal executive and specialises in estate planning, trust structuring, wills and estates.
Carol advises clients on all aspects of trust formation, structuring and administration including succession planning, wills, personal property ownership, estate administration and Enduring Powers of Attorney.
She assists with the administration of a significant number of trusts and estates.
Carol has worked in conveyancing, banking and finance and litigation and, for the last 16 years, has worked in the Private Client team at Chapman Tripp.
Carol is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives and served 20 years on the New Zealand Council. She is the immediate past President of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives.

- managed trust administration, including gifting, succession issues, corporate trustee administration and taxation administration
- prepared wills, Memorandum of Wishes and Enduring Powers of Attorney, and
- advised on estates including Probate, administration of estates through to distribution and ongoing administration of life interest estates.
