Senior Leadership Team

At the helm of Chapman Tripp, Pip is responsible for leading the firm and driving strategy.

Working across the firm, Pip leads our business and professional responsibilities including client and partner management. For the past three years, he has also been serving on the Chapman Tripp board.

He lives and breathes our firm’s values. Under his leadership, Pip will enable our people to think and act in ways that challenge the perceptions of a traditional law firm, underpinning the relationships we have with our clients and with each other.

Prior to his role as Chief Executive Partner, Pip was a leading expert in our Auckland Corporate team with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, property syndications and other corporate property transactions, for international and domestic clients. He was also the relationship partner for several of the firm’s priority clients for a number of years.

With our strong position in the New Zealand market, Pip will confidently lead the firm on its continued path of success, supporting our clients to thrive and finding opportunity in the current market.
